8th/9th Battalion parade and consecration of the 8th Battalion Colours to the 8th/9th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment at Brisbane City.

AGM & Reunion – 1 November 2025

The 8/9 RAR Association AGM & Reunion will be conducted with events planned for 1 November 2025. 

Friday 31 October 2025 at 1700 Hours will be a meet and greet function at the Grand Central Hotel 270 Ann Street Brisbane.

Saturday 1 November the morning will commence with a Freedom of Entry parade at 0930 where association members can line Adelaide street between Edward and Albert then move up to King George Square where the 8 RAR Colours will be replaced with the new Kings Colours . Suggested dress for this occasion is coat, tie & medals.

The AGM for the Association will be conducted at the Grand Central Hotel with an expected start time of 1400 hours.
